![]() ![]() I've done a great deal of scientific analysis and come to the conclusion that 95% of Doomsday Paradise players are hot bisexual women, and the other 5% are hot people of every other orientation. It's no secret that the Steam Awards mostly get won by AAA games and the occasional mega-indie hit. Of course, that's not the only reason but it IS like, 90% of my motivation. But the real reason I want to win this is because I want to gloat. ![]() The free visibility for example, or the feeling of accomplishment that only winning an online popularity poll can bring. There are many on paper reasons why a developer like myself would covet this kind of thing. That's a lot of power for just one random indie developer to have. But what will you do with the power of winning an online popularity contest? Why do you even want to win this? And that's a good question. What I will do with the Award Those are all very good reasons to vote for this game, you're probably thinking. You want to vote for the dinkiest Steam game you can, so if it wins bigger developers with actual budgets will be incentivized to make multiplayer games.Your friend has a different favorite game and you don't want to vote for it.You are hoping that if any of the game characters become real they will see what you did for them and think you're a pretty cool guy/gal.You hate this game, and you're hoping the increased visibility lowers my review score.You love this game and want to see it get enough reviews to be eligible for Overwhelmingly Positive.You're hoping the extra visibility results in a lot of adult artists finding the game.You're hoping the extra visibility results in a billion sales so I can create beefier content updates. ![]()
